"Well, it's all an adventure

That comes with a breathtaking view

Walking …..

With you, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh"

These are the lyrics from the Greatest Show-edding of Mr & Mrs McGowan #TheGreatestShowmanandwoman) and the words couldn’t be more fitting to the breathtaking snaps of their wedding day at Kilmore House on the 12th June. (It’s also the song the couple played for their first dance). Scroll to see all the beauty of the day captured by Sheena T photography from the style to the incredible blooms, this wedding has it ALL!

The adventure began when they met at school. “Peter was the year above me and took me on my first date to see Avril Lavinge in concert when I was 12 or 13. We dated for a little bit - not long enough to remember how long! & then just kinda drifted.” Thankfully their relationship was rekindled over icecream and weekly drives some years later and Peter proposed just over 2 years ago with his Mother’s ring on Christmas Eve.

Their wedding was a celebration of positivity proving that covid restrictions doesn’t mean you have to compromise on your big day! In fact the intimacy made it all that more special.

They had the most glorious outdoor ceremony in their dream venue @Kilmore with family and friends and their gorgeous little girl Clara.

Gabrielle looks timeless and effortless in Stella York #6940. This soft and dreamy lace wedding dress is perfect for our laid-back bride. Touches of pearl work add a dewy glow along the attached belt and wide straps, creating a plunging V-neckline and open V-back- also mirroring the angled side cut-outs for a balanced, modern look. This wedding dress has a soft layer of tulle that falls gently over the sheath silhouette, featuring lace appliques for a touch of vintage detailing.

Gabrielle’s top tip for anyone planning a wedding during these times is positive and uplifting;

“Don’t move the date - we never did and everything fell into place anyway. We couldn’t have live music or dancing or our original numbers of 120 people with extras to the evening but with 55 adults I still didn’t make it around half the tables & our DJ (DJNI) provided fantastic games too and I genuinely don’t feel like I missed out on anything.”

Congratulations you pair, may we wish you a lifetime of adventures!
