Sweet Scent-iments!

Today’s #JustWedWednesday features Sinead and Conor’s epic wedding on the 7th May. You’ll want to soak up every exquisite detail of this effortlessly stylish and fabulous day- it’s the perfect inspo for a micro wedding. It really does look like something from a promotional advert or film. Compliments to all-round awesome photographer Catherine Comer for this!
Every proposal is different and of course every one is special but we think Conor’s was ‘scentsational’! He proposed on Christmas Eve down on one knee with an engraved bottle of perfume!… we did not even know this was a thing! But we are loving this guy’s style!
Sinead looks absolutely FABULOUS in her Watters #Hunter bridal gown. We love how flattering and elegant the neckline is, the exquisite pearl strap detail and the cowl drape on this silk georgette gown is a style statement. If you are a believer in fate, we think Sinead was destined to wear the Hunter dress as it was only available for one weekend only at an exclusive Trunk show. Sinead happened to book in for that particular weeknd and fell in love with the style!
We also just can’t get enough of the beautiful bouquets from Budding Designs, the textures, colourways and arrangements that these talented florists produced are just divine! Sinead is very lucky to have had her Aunt Nuala’s expertise at hand as we think the floral display was stunning!
Theme/Inspiration/Vibe of the day:
"Our wedding was VERY relaxed. We were in no rush to go anywhere we just enjoyed every minute. We had anticipated that we would only have 25 guests so anything over and above that was a bonus. The two families and the bridal party went to the crosskeys inn for photos, the sun was shining and we were able to sit outside and have a chat and enjoy a drink together. It was so intimate and chilled and when I look back I think that was my favourite part. Almost everyone we loved most was there and it was very special to spend that quality time with them on our wedding day which we wouldn’t have had, had things been ‘normal".
Your top tip / word of advice for other couples planning their wedding day:
"Regardless of restrictions etc just do it!!!! It will still be your special day regardless of everything and enjoy every minute of it because it goes so fast!!! And at the end of it all you will be husband and wife".
Congratulations Mr & Mrs McKinley, the scent of true love is well and truly in the air! May we wish you both a lifetime of happiness together and thank you for sharing your beautiful wedding with us. xx
