Rotterdam (Or Anywhere), As Long As It’s Together!

It’s always such a privilege to watch one of our Marie Me brides step into her next chapter, and this beautiful wedding, the wedding of Chloe and Conor on 3rd April 2026, was no exception. From the moment Chloe walked through our doors searching for the one, to seeing the stunning photographs from her wedding day, every part of her journey felt so special to be part of.

Their story began in London, where the couple first met through work. Something quite meaningful began to grow between them. Before long, life brought exciting changes, a move to Ireland, the arrival of their beautiful daughter Niamh, and just over a year later, little Oscar completed their family. Between the beautiful chaos of family life and all the little moments in between, their relationship blossomed into something strong, genuine, and lasting. Then, during a family holiday in Rotterdam with their children by their side, came the proposal that would lead them towards their wedding day.

When it came to finding her wedding dress, our bride told us she had visited a few bridal boutiques beforehand but never quite found a gown that truly felt like her. After researching dresses online, she came across Orla and instantly knew she needed to try it on. After contacting bridal shops from Derry to Newry, she discovered that Marie Me Bridal was the only boutique stocking the gown and thankfully, the rest is history.

From the moment she stepped into Orla, she knew she had found the dress. Hearing her describe that feeling is exactly why we love what we do. Knowing we could play a small part in helping a bride feel confident, beautiful, and completely herself on one of the biggest days of her life is something we never take for granted. She also shared such kind words about her experience with us, and it truly means the world to hear that we were able to support her not only with her dress, but with all the little details, questions, and moments of reassurance along the way.

One of the standout moments for us was seeing just how incredible Chloe looked on her wedding day. Honestly, the Orla gown looked as though it had been made especially for her. From the moment she first tried it on in the boutique, it was clear the dress perfectly reflected her style, timeless, elegant, and effortlessly chic.

Everything about her bridal look came together so beautifully, from the silhouette of the gown to the styling and accessories she chose. Chloe carried the dress with such confidence and grace, and the finished look was nothing short of sensational. Seeing our brides bring their vision to life in a way that feels so authentically them is always so special, and Chloe absolutely did that!

Their wedding day itself was the perfect balance of timeless elegance and heartfelt family moments. They chose a classic, chic style that would feel just as beautiful years from now as it did on the day itself. But most importantly, they created a celebration that included their children in every possible way. From toy bags and soft play areas to unforgettable moments on the dance floor, the entire day reflected exactly who they are as a couple, stylish, warm, family-focused, and full of love.

One of our favourite parts of hearing from our brides after the wedding is the advice they share for future couples. Her biggest piece of advice was to truly slow down and take it all in. Wedding days pass so quickly, and she encouraged couples to give themselves quiet moments together throughout the day to pause, breathe, and soak up every second. She also reminded couples to trust the suppliers they have chosen, embrace the imperfect moments, and focus on making the day feel authentic to them. After all, those little unplanned moments often become the memories you treasure most.
