Real bride wearing long sleeve wedding dress!

Today’s couple Rachel and Darryl got married last November during a yellow weather warning and it rained from morning to night. The rain didn’t dampen their spirits though, they had “the best day of their lives” and Rachel has such a positive outlook describing it as “rain is just confetti from the sky”. 

They had a fun and chilled wedding at Millbrook lodge and celebrated with family and closest friends. This wedding is filled with emotion and inspiring details and all planned within six months!

We just love the personal touches of how Rachel used flowers from her Grannies gardens, both ladies sadly passed away before the big day. They dried flowers from the garden to make confetti and to make it even more special her Granny’s friend Sally McCurry made the flower arrangements including the bouquets.

Your wedding day should be a reflection of who you are. Rachel rocks her specs and leather jacket and is a vision in her Delia dress by Modeca Bridal.  The long sleeves make it wonderfully winter wedding appropriate. The beaded lace embroidery on the sleeves is exquisite and provides a chic contrast with the sleek silhouette.

The highlight of the day was the ceilidh, it was a fun-filled night of wild dancing, great music and good company!
