Knox, Knox… Who’s There? The New Mrs Knox!

Guess who we have up this week for #JustWedWednesday?

… it’s the new Mr & Mrs Knox! ✨

And while we’re delighted to welcome Mrs Knox to the married club, there’s one small detail we’re still trying to get our heads around… she’s now a farmer’s wife, despite being absolutely terrified of cows! 

From our boutique to Steven’s farm, this was one wedding day we were so excited to hear all about. Our gorgeous bride Orla was the baby of the house, a doctor, and now officially a farmer’s wife, and what a celebration it was!

A lace wedding dress made for our beautiful bride

We think Orla looked absolutely incredible in her lace wedding dress. From the moment she found it in our boutique, we knew it was the perfect choice for her. The graphic lace, beautiful detail and timeless bridal feel suited her perfectly, and seeing her all dressed up on her wedding day was simply magical. 

She looked every inch the beautiful bride, and we couldn't have been happier to have played a little part in her journey to the aisle.

When we asked her how much she loved her dress and about her Marie Me experience, her answer made us smile:

“Honestly the best girls ever, so chilled, exactly what I wanted.”

And honestly, that's exactly what we hope every Marie Me bride feels. No pressure, no fuss, just a relaxed experience, surrounded by girls who genuinely want you to find the one. And she certainly did!

A beautiful bridal party

We also had the absolute privilege of dressing the two bridesmaids, and we adored their dresses and think the ladies looked incredible. 

The colour combination was simply perfection. The beautiful soft eucalyptus shade of the bridesmaids' dresses against the ivory of the wedding dress created the most gorgeous, soft and elegant contrast. 

And when paired with the beautiful colour palette of the bouquets, the whole bridal party came together so beautifully. Every detail complemented the next, creating a timeless and effortlessly elegant look that we absolutely loved.

We always love seeing how our brides bring their whole bridal party together, and this was a particularly beautiful combination.

A day full of family, friends… and farm adventures!

One of the most memorable moments of the day had to be getting up on top of the pillars at Steven’s farm, because apparently a wedding day isn't complete without a little adventure!

But for our bride, the real highlight was something much more heartfelt: seeing all their friends and family having the best time, and watching both families come together, chat and celebrate.

Those are the moments that make a wedding day so special. The dress, the flowers and all the little details are beautiful, but ultimately, it's the people you love filling the room, and the memories you make together, that stay with you.

Her advice to future brides & grooms?

It couldn't be simpler:

“It’s your day – do what you want and enjoy!!”

And we couldn't agree more. ❤️

Your wedding doesn't have to follow anyone else's rules. Whether you dream of a grand celebration, a relaxed day surrounded by family, or climbing pillars on the family farm in your wedding dress (although we might recommend checking with your photographer first! ?), make it yours.
