Christmas Wedding at the Merchant! Jingle 'Bells' all the way!

With the countdown to Christmas officially started (at Marie Me anyways :) ) can we get you in the mood by sharing the stunning winter wedding of our real bride Christine and John.

Ding dong…let us introduce you to Mr & Mrs Bell!

This gorgeous couple met in 2014, and made it official on 10th Dec ‘during a wee canal cruise whilst 'city breaking' in Amsterdam, John proposed in 2018 in Central Park, New York on the Home Alone 2 rock!! (a favourite film of ours), Our wedding date was originally 10.12.20, but was postponed due to covid and finally happened on 10.12.21. In light of this (and because it's lovely) we chose a fitting first dance song - Etta James - At Last!’

We are loving the modern sophisticated vibe of their wedding day! Christine chose a timeless style from our LaSposa collection and makes that less-is-more aesthetic soar! She looks the picture of elegance and perfection. Christine tells us they had ‘no real theme as such - “I wanted to go for classy and a subtle 1920s, Gatsby feel. I love Christmas and a wintery vibe, so I kept it simple with black & white but incorporated pops of gold and maroon!”

The highlights of the day included the first look with just the two of them, being able to have all of our family and friends attend and enjoy our wedding together and dancing in Cathedral Quarter for a couple of snaps. The bride’s Top Tip;
