Tell us a little about yourselves :

Phill and I met 11 years ago at work, and we instantly hit it off! He made me laugh every single day (and still does), he was kind, caring and a real charmer. Fast forward 6 years, we started to grow our family when we introduced Ella into the world and 2 years later little Noah came along. Although it took Phill 22.2.22 long to propose ? I always knew this day would come. For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to get married on the 22/02/2022 because it was a completely symmetrical date. As the day approached, I knew this wasn’t going to happen, but I got the next best thing! I had the most romantic proposal that our 2 beautiful children got to witness and I couldn’t have been happier.

How much did you LOVE your wedding dress?

The dress, where do I even start!?? I went to, what felt like every bridal shop in the country! I finally got to Marie me bridal in Randalstown, and I honestly wish this had of been the first place I tried! Feeling deflated and disheartened, I was met by Eilish and Fiona, and they instantly put me at ease! They sat me down and got to know more about me before I even looked at the dresses. This allowed them to get a better understanding of my personality, and the kind of style that would suit the best. When I say these girls know what they are doing, I mean they KNOW what they're doing! They let me select the dresses I thought I wanted and Fiona then asked if she could pick a dress for me based on the conversation we had earlier, and she pulled out this amazing Stella York dress. I tried it on, and I can honestly say I had never felt more confident and beautiful in all my life. When I walked out of the changing room, my mum and sister were both speechless (something I have never witnessed before lol) and I just knew this was the dress I would get married in! It was absolutely perfect and I loved it so much!! The advice, guidance and craic these girls have is next to none!! So if you don't know, you need to get to know Marie Me Bridal!! My only regret is that I can't wear my dress everyday lol.

Tell us about your wedding (You might want to include; Your theme/ the inspiration behind the styling/ the vibe of your day?

We started planning our day almost straight away. Neither of us wanted to wait, and with my daddy’s health condition, I wanted to make sure he was there to walk me down the aisle. Everything just fell into place. We got the venue of our dreams and managed to secure all the suppliers we wanted to make our day special. Leona from the balloonista ballymena had the room sitting perfect with the most amazing balloon centrepieces, and a backdrop with our very own personalised sign! Will from le jardin sauvage supplied us with a beautiful arrangement of flowers! Everything from the stunning flower arch (it literally took my breath away) down to the buttonholes were perfect! My make up was done by Katie mckillop and she had myself and all the girls looking amazing. The hair was out of this world, my cousins at glow hair studio couldn’t have done a better job! Sharon McKnight was my seamstress, and I honestly didn’t think my dress could get better. But she had it perfectly fitted to me, not to mention adding on a cape to my wee girls dress to make it almost identical to mine. The list goes on, and I can’t thank the vendors enough for their hard work!

Memorable moment? What was the highlight of your day?

The highlight of my day was having my daddy walk me down the aisle and seeing all our guests, my 2 beautiful children and my now husband at the top of the alter!!

Your top tip / word of advice for other couples planning their wedding day?

I know everyone says this, but the best advice is to just relax and enjoy the day! The day goes by so quickly and you only get those 24 hours once, so make the most of it!! It will honestly be the best day of your life!
